To improve the professional knowledge and abilities of career guidance personnel, our Commission organizes every kind of training over the long run. Since 2005, we have completed a series of programs of vocational “development,” “working world,” “primary-level stage of counseling techniques and testing tools” in carrying out “the plan for training of specialists in career inquiries.” In 2007, a series of programs of “project management” as well as “advanced-level and high-level stages of counseling techniques and testing tools” are expected to come on stream.
To deepen career guidance downwards at the roots, our Commission trains teachers of senior high schools and vocational high schools to improve their professional knowledge and abilities in employment development. From 2003 onwards, career study programs for teachers of senior high schools and vocational high schools are organized every year, connecting senior high school students’ learning contents, university students and working places together. Through these teachers, a conception of correct career plans can be passed to young people.
